Buying a car

Four wheel drives are essential on Koro, preferably with a utility or twin cab to help take supplies to the island. We recommend Toyota cars as we have found them to be the best and the easiest to buy spare parts for. The agents for Toyota are ASCO Motors in Suva , and they deal with new cars, second hand cars, servicing and spare parts as well as Yamaha motors for boats. Buying an ATV

Horses

Some people prefer to get around on horses. They are low maintenance and low cost and can be bought on the island for around 4200 - you will bring your saddle with you.
